Studio Rental Terms and Conditions

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

Use of Artspace Photo Studio’s (the Studio) premises and equipment is at Renter’s risk. The Renter hereby agrees that Artspace Media LLC (the Company) will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage, loss, injury, or death to the Renter, his party, or possessions while at the Studio premises.

All persons and activities at the Studio may be video recorded for safety purposes.

Renter holds harmless and indemnifies the Company and its owners, agents, representatives, associates, officers, employees, guests, and tenants against any suit, claim, loss, accident, judgment, fine, injury, death, or damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. This indemnification shall continue in full force and effect during and after the term of the rental for such causes arising during the term of the rental.

LENGTH OF USE

Rental periods are pre-arranged at the time of booking.

The Renter’s rental time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time. Time includes set up and break-down. The Studio premises must be cleaned and vacated BY THE END of the rental period. No prior drop-off and/or pick-up after. A $100 fee will be charged if the studio is left later than the reserved time. Any fractions of an hour will be counted and charged as a whole hour.

After the end of rental time, make sure to shut the door and lock it by pressing the "Yale" button on the lock. Before leaving, ensure the door is securely locked. A $100 fine will be charged for leaving the door open.

All booking extensions after 9:00 p.m. are subject to a 50% surcharge in addition to the extension rate.

No bulk discounts are offered on extensions, which are priced at a fixed hourly rate.

Hours of Operation

The studio operates strictly within the building's hours of operation. The Renter is liable for any penalties and surcharges resulting from exiting the premises after the building's closing time. An additional $50 administration fee will be charged by the studio.

EQUIPMENT

The Company agrees to provide equipment in good working condition but makes no special guarantees as to said equipment's functionality or suitability to Renter’s purposes.

The Renter shall notify the Company immediately of any malfunction, damage, or other issues with the equipment.

SMOKING AND SUBSTANCE USE

Smoking, alcohol, non-prescription, or illegal drug use is not allowed at the Studio premises.

No one will be admitted who is drunk or under the influence of illegal substances.

DAMAGE

The Renter shall be solely responsible for any damage to the Company’s property or equipment that occurs during the time while the Renter or his party occupies the Studio premises.

Damage deposits will be held until repairs can be made. If the damage exceeds the amount of the damage deposit, the Renter agrees to pay reasonable additional repair costs to bring damaged equipment back to working condition.

Do not walk on the cyclorama's curved parts.

The Renter agrees to pay for damage to the Studio premises and equipment, including spills, excessive wear, marks, or stains on furniture, fixtures, or painted surfaces.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Booking Cancellation:

Cancellation 30+ days before the shoot: Full refund (fees are non-refundable)

Cancellation 30–7 days before the shoot: 50% refund of the booking price (fees are non-refundable).

Cancellation less than 7 days before the shoot: Payment is non-refundable.

Booking Rescheduling:

Rescheduling 48+ hours before the shoot is allowed one time only and free of charge. You may choose any available date.

Please note: once a booking has been rescheduled, it becomes non-refundable, and no cancellations or refunds will be provided for the booking.

Rescheduling less than 48 hours before the shoot is not allowed. A new booking is required.

CLEANING & TRASH

The Renter agrees to leave the Studio premises, equipment, all contents, and fixtures in the same condition as they were when the Renter arrived. If excessive cleaning is required after your session, a cleaning fee may be applied depending on the situation (a fee of $50 or more).

No paint, glitter, confetti, baby oil, wax, holi powder, flammable materials, silly string, artificial snow, or any substances that could damage or stain our stages. Unless confirmed and approved by the Company's representative. A refundable deposit may be required.

Transaction Fees

All card payments include 5% transaction fee.

AUTHORIZATION FOR ADDITIONAL CHARGES

The Renter authorizes the Studio to charge the "Card on File" (the credit or debit card used at checkout) for any additional costs. These automatic charges may cover, but are not limited to, booking extensions, add-ons, overtime, requested extra services, miscellaneous fees, and other possible charges of the Rental Terms and Conditions agreement. A 5% card transaction fee will apply to all of these charges.

Pets

Pets are allowed upon the Company's representative approval and are subject to the Waiver of Liability, Damage, and Cleaning Terms sections of the Rental Terms and Conditions agreement.
